The JEGS ET Series Super Pro Motorcycle class is one of the most unique and dangerous classes at National Trail Raceway.  Riders are willing get on their bikes with no seat belts, no roll cages, only a helmet and leathers to protect them if anything goes wrong.  This past season it was Marshall Hutchinson winning his first ever Super Pro Motorcycle Championship.

The season started a little slow for Marshall and his team with a couple of early round exits at the first two JEGS ET Series events in May.  In June, he turned his luck around and won the June 10th race over Bruce Sauer to put himself in the points lead.  During July, Marshall won the Wally at NHRA.tv Challenge event and since it was 73-point day, it gave him an even bigger lead at the top of the points sheet.  Hutchinson took his points lead into August and won the event on Saturday, August 19th and added 73 more points to his total as he remained at the top of the points sheet.  Going into the final JEGS ET Series events in September, Hutchinson had already clinched the Super Pro Motorcycle Championship, but he finished the season on a high note with a win at the NHRA Ohio State Drag Racing Championship taking home the custom Wally trophy.

“This season was a blast! To finally win the Super Pro Motorcycle Championship means the world to me. The class gets tougher every year so this means so much to me,” said a joyful Hutchinson. “I want to thank my Wife Jaymi and my son Russell for being there for me and coming to track and supporting me, this championship is theirs as well. I also want to thank my dad and Hutchies Home Maintenance for their sponsorship this season.”

Next year Hutchinson plans on defending his title and wants to add another championship trophy to the basement trophy case.

Congrats to Marshall Hutchinson the 2023 JEGS ET Series Super Pro Motorcycle Champion!
